A brand new convertible top appears with a larger back window. The boot looses its previous shape and the slots are from now on 10 horizontal instead of 36 vertical. The dashboard is also redesigned, the speakers grilles situated on each side of the counter. The ashtray is installed at the center, under the radio place, while a chrome fitting runs through the entire dashboard. The accelerating pedal is flatter. No important change for 1959.
