Main noticeable détails:
Introduction of the automatic gear-box. Big change for the headlights that become vertical, the rear lights become bigger and have a flat base. The hood and the boot are shortened, new bumpers on the 1300 and 1500 models, passing in 12 Volts. The doors are modified. The steering column changes and the indicators command is now part of the commodo. New door-handles trigger like. Some models receive a dashboard made of foam covered by black vinyl. The windscreen moulding is slightly modified to receive a new fixing. New deflectors blocking system. The top archs are modified. As from the chassis nr. 158 469 661, the chromed moulding under the top linen window is suppressed. The gaz fill-up is now done in a trap situated on the passenger side and opened from inside.

Few changes in 1969. The heating system at the feet, moved backward, is actioned by a cable. A rear-view mirror day/night is introduced, as well as a new counter, more modern with straight figures. A new water-recovery system under the ventilation slots on the boot is meant to prevent interference with the new air filter. The rims are now painted in aluminium tint.
