32 liters rectangular tank. The aluminium KdF logo is suppressed on the hood, on the left side of the dashboard, where it was fixed early 1946, as well as on the hub caps. As glass becomes scarce, the first series are equipped with on-feet Kübel lights, inserted in the wings. The lack of raw materials forces to assemble the available parts, and some chassis and engines coded 5 or 2 can be found on Type 11. In March 1946, the monthly production attains 1000 units/month.
