Main noticeable details :
Some chromes sometimes appear here and there such as on the rear-lights that receive a chromed mould with the VW crest, around the headlights, the bumbers and the door handles . The coil is fixed on the front of the fan shroud. A fourth reinforcement is added to the front skirt. Beginning of Export (in The Netherlands) and spare parts service and standard exchange

This is the type 11 version, identical from early 1947 until June 1949. Its is distinguished by its finer bumpers, with reversed over-riders, by the hood opening system, of the same type as the decklid, and by its hub caps bearing a big VW crest (from 1948 to june 1949).

This is 1948 engine, perfectly restored.

Between 1949 and 1950, the Hebmüller will only slightly change, keeping even the cable brakes.

Main noticeable details :
The hub caps are curved again, as those from 1938/1939 but with a large diameter embossed VW crest. The lifting jack support becomes square (instead of round). The factory manufactures the Hebmüller and the Karmann cabriolet prototypes. Heinz Nordhoff is in charge of management and the mass export activity starts.
