In August, all models are equipped with a 12 V electrical circuit; the driver's door and the contact lock are commanded with a unique key ; the gas tank door has a draw-back spring; on the Pick-up, the luggage compartment doors now have a real lock; the driver's seat is more comfortable; overtaking acceleration improved by the installation of a shorter 3rd ratio.
Although they intend to renew the utility range, Volkswagen carries on to present special models on the Pick-up base in 1966. |
