This Bus is a model from 1976.

If its chassis is integrated into the main structure, the floor of the cabin is in one piece, with embossed reinforcements. However, the floor of the load compartment is in two reinforced pieces. Two embossed elements form the engine compartment, and the lateral panels are in two parts welded together (high and low). It's on a " false chassis " formed of two length-wise beams and of square section on all its length, that the vehicle rests. Even a central tube is in place for the heating. The chassis is protected by an thick anti-rust cover, which also ensures sound-proof. More globally the cabin is protected by felts and rubber placed on the wheels arches. The tail-gate is articulated upwards, and the hinges are set on different embossed sheets elements situated on the roof and the corner panel. The roof is in one piece. An opening roof in sheets, at the center, is proposed for the Deluxe models, and the roof system opening it comes from the Westfalia type Bus. Also new, lateral swing-doors have been replaced by one sliding door or even two if requested (optional). The gas tank is situated in front of the engine, under the sheet of the luggage compartment (on the pick-up version, it is accessible by a detachable panel in the boot). Raised models also exist, not like the Split Bus Hi-Roof models, but in a poly roof in one sole piece version. In this case, there is only one lateral sliding door, and the volume passes from 5,3 m3 to 6,2 m3. On the simple cabin and the enlarged platform versions, the boot has a door, and a second one is in option.

The Pick-Up can be delivered with a tarpaulin and an arch, for an additional amount.

This double cabin pick-up version represents in 1973 about 6% of the sales.

During all these years of Bay-Windows production, the " ambulance " model was always a followed-up version of the production.
