In
a first time, the Bay-Window Bus keeps the
drum-brakes (see details per year). But
soon, disks are installed (1970) and the
piercing becomes 5/112. There are 5
cylinders for each front drum, and only
one at the rear. The front drums are 250
mm long and 55 mm wide and at the rear 250
mm long and 45 mm wide. The hand-brake is
still with cables, and the braking
hydraulic circuit is double. The
master-cylinder is much bigger than on the
Split Bus (double circuit), with a valve
on the spring maintaining constantly
pressure in the circuit, which helps
starting quicklier. The braking liquid
tank is situated on the front
panel.
