The
station wagon is available as from 1961. It sort of replaces
the Combi and is ideal for a family of five. In Germany it
is called Variant and many people think the name applies to
the whole range, popular as it is.
The
inside is spacious and better equipped than its
little sister the Beetle. The " Klaxon " inside
wheel will soon be replaced.
Available
but not much dispatched, the " sheeted " Variant could
received sheets instead of windows or even be totally
closed.
