1966

Few modifications in 1966. The oil pump receives a vacuum-dip valve to avoid, when cold, the circuit over-pressure. The warming inlet of the carburettor is done by the heater on the right (front inlet on the cylinders). As for the gear box, the pignon of the third gear passes from 29/22 to 29/23 which means 1,32 to 1,26, improving nicely the ranging. The electric system passes to 12 volts (dynamo diameter 105 mm). The dashboard buttons are now in black rubber, and the windscreeen wiper now has two speeds. The heating commands are vertical, along the beam instead of on the dashboard. One single key opens the door and starts the car.

Anchor points of the safety belt are now fitted on the rear seat (3 fixing points). On the Coupés, the sun visors axle is modified, which improves the passive safety. The available colours do not change for 1966, but the insides are now in two-tints.

1967

All the models exported to the U.S.A. are equipped with an 1600 engine with injection. The engine infeed is now done by an electric gas pump with a return to the tank. The oil bath filter is replaced by a paper filter. Available in option, the semi-automatic version has three ratios towards the front, one back-drive and a neutral position. The gear box supports are modified. The fork for the 1st and 2nd gears is in brass, the synchro rings have stop canelures and brake-bolts. A master-cylinder with double circuit improves the safety. Inside, the rearview mirror has a plastic foot with wider sides. The windows handles are also wider and in plastic material. The glove compartment can be locked with a push-button. The arms-rests are wider. Head-rests can be installed in option. The levers of the ventilation on the dashboard are replaced by handles. The ashtrays and the deflectors locks are also modified. The outside rear-view mirror is larger. The doors handles have triggers. The gas fill-up is done by a trap in the front right wing. The models " export U.S.A. " have chromed metallic rear-lights supports. The dim-lights are placed with the indicators and the dashboard comprises a witness light for the brakes.
